Why Not Write a Book?
After my wife bought an old battered Lionel steam engine for me in 1994, my interest in trains was rekindled. I ended up writing a book called "Metro-north's Hudson Line". This book is available through my publisher, Depot Square Publishing.
Vintage Photographs through contemporary color serve to illustrate the evolution of a selected railroad from the golden age of steam to the modern age of streamlined diesels and electric.
...depicts the Hudson Line between Poughkeepsie and Oscawana, which includes some of the most spectacular scenery in the Hudson River Valley
Early steam E-units, FL-9's, F-10ps, Geeps, B23-7s, U-boats, RDC's, SPV-2000's and Genesis engines are all shown
